SAVE THE DATE...June 22 is coming, and you'll want to be on hand for the anniversary.

NOON - Be at Settler's Landing for the official commemoration ceremony and NEWS CONFERENCE with a major announcement about the state of the river. Bring a brownbag lunch!

Stay around to celebrate. Come to the river, whatever part of it, or whatever tributary or stream, is close to you.

It's a Monday. Take a picnic lunch to the nearby stream or park.

Stay tuned for more information on activities and locations. If you have an event or activity planned, let us know!

WHAT WE'RE UP TO...

Wetland and Habitat Restoration being essential elements to reaching delisting habitat goals, CRCPO is working to take the 2008 wetland assessment data and rankings for restoration potential in each RAP tributary, and get this data into important state and Great Lakes Regional Collaboration databases so it can be used to make better decisions about potential projects, land use, conservation and mitigation.

You can see the Wetlands Assessment summary and the Mill Creek wetlands prioritization information in the Wetlands section of the CRCPO website.

A NICKEL HERE, A NICKEL THERE...
