Time Capsule Series Environmental Art available from Portage Park District
The Park District recently received a donation of artwork titled “Time Capsules” from artist and Hiram Professor, Martin Huehner. The Park District plans to loan the artwork to display at schools and libraries, as well as use it for Park District programs. The Time Capsules series provides viewers with a glimpse into geological, evolutionary, and ecological time that prevails in forest ecosystems, and consists of samples that represent these different ages.

Please contact Susan Blair at sblair@portageparkdistrict.org for more information or to arrange a loan of Time Capsule Series for your school or classroom.

We invite you to become a partner in this project.
If you have an idea or a plan for how you would like to help us celebrate, or if you'd like to volunteer, organize a committee or event, or make a tax-deductible contribution or become a sponsor, please contact us.

We're all in this (watershed) together.
